About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform internal case management, evaluation, education, and development of nursing talent
- Participate in patient transitions from facilities to homes through Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations
- Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as necessary
- Assist with selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
- Promote and enhance staff clinical expertise to provide safe, quality nursing care
- Collaborate with operations and business development teams
- Ensure adherence to State, Federal, and Local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures
- Complete patient intake and discharge to home
- Conduct nurse competency validation
- Visit patient homes to develop, mentor, and provide professional guidance to field staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Must have at least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
- Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in designated territory
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
- Must be willing to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents and/or adults
