About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform internal case management, evaluation, education and development of nursing talent
  • Participate in transitioning patients from facilities to their homes through Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations
  • Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as necessary
  • Assist with selecting, training and validating new clinical staff
  • Promote and enhance staff clinical expertise to provide safe and quality nursing care
  • Collaborate with operations and business development teams
  • Ensure adherence to state, federal and local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures
  • Conduct patient intake and discharge to home, start of care processes and nurse competency validation
  • Conduct in-home visits and provide field staff with mentoring and professional guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a good standing RN license in the state in which the clinician will practice
  • At least 3 years of hands-on nursing experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care or hospital setting
  • Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in designated territory
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license and pass MVR check
  • Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
  • Must be willing to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents and/or adults
