Hospice RN Clinical Management Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Home Health and Hospice leadership in planning, coordinating, and delivering quality services to clients
- Serve as a regional resource for interim clinical leadership, training, and clinical support
- Monitor and assess company electronic medical records (EMR) workflows and assist as needed or assigned
- Support the intake process and admission decisions
- Facilitate virtual training for newly hired, rehired, and promoted Clinical Managers and Nurses
- Serve as interim Clinical Manager when a position is vacant
- Mentor new Clinical Managers
- Provide in-office training and clinical support for Hospice locations in Central and South Alabama and two locations in Georgia
- Travel regularly between regional offices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have Hospice experience and live in AL, or GA
- Registered Nurse with an active and unencumbered license in the state of residence
- Expertise and experience with the Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR system
- Three (3) years of clinical experience within the last five (5) years in Hospice
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is preferred
- Valid and acceptable driver’s license with proof of automobile insurance coverage
- Travel by car between regional offices will be required
