About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work independently with business and system analysis to determine the appropriate testing approach
  • Analyze requirements and design and prepare test cases, complex test data and test prerequisites
  • Prepare effort estimates for test preparation and execution activities
  • Execute tests and manage test cases and defects using JIRA and Zephyr
  • Use ReadyAPI, Bruno, Playwright and JMeter during integration, automation and performance test execution where relevant
  • Leverage AI tools to support test analysis and test design
  • Analyze test results and defects and collaborate with relevant teams on root-cause analysis and resolution
  • Apply finance, accounting and banking-product knowledge when designing and evaluating tests
  • Contribute to testing within Agile Scrum teams and collaborate across the project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting, including chart of accounts, account analytics, accounting principles and rules, or demonstrable experience testing accounting systems
  • Experience with testing accounting systems; participation in an accounting system replacement project is highly relevant
  • Ability to independently analyze requirements and prepare test cases, complex test data and test prerequisites
  • Ability to provide effort estimates for test preparation and execution activities
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Zephyr, particularly for test case management, imports and defect management
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architect and UML
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile software delivery methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of ReadyAPI, Bruno, Playwright and JMeter
  • Ability to use AI tools for test analysis and design
  • ISTQB certification or knowledge equivalent to ISTQB Advanced Level
  • Understanding of common banking products and their purpose
  • Experience analyzing test results and collaborating on defect analysis and resolution
  • Native or near-native Czech or Slovak language proficiency
  • General experience testing banking applications, including branch applications, digital channels or back-office applications
  • Familiarity with PEK, Graylog or Kibana
  • Ability to develop automation scripts using TypeScript or Python
  • Ability to coordinate a small team of up to five testers
