About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the successful growth of Qutenza® through a focused, adaptive, and efficient commercial business model
  • Educate healthcare providers
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans
  • Engage with C-Suite and executive leadership across complex Integrated Delivery Networks, including DoD, VA, hospital systems, academic centers, and private practices
  • Create and execute strategic business plans aligned to territory goals and KPIs
  • Leverage CRM systems, data analytics, and organizational tools to identify opportunities and drive sales effectiveness
  • Build relationships with C-Suite and executive teams across multiple sites
  • Develop accounts into optimized sites of care to ensure continued access to Qutenza® for appropriate patients
  • Provide support on product access, education, and application training for HCPs and staff
  • Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with key customers, staff, and national/regional KEEs
  • Build influential networks across multiple specialties and develop Alternate Sites of Care to meet account needs
  • Navigate obstacles and prioritize solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Pursue continuous learning to become a clinical pain market expert and share insights with peers and cross-functional partners
  • Foster transparency, trust, and shared commitment to organizational success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of proven strategic key account management success in pharmaceutical or medical sales
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated success delivering exceptional sales results through a patient-centric approach
  • Expertise promoting specialty or buy-and-bill products across diverse sites of care (clinics, infusion centers, hospitals, government facilities)
  • Experience in pain management, specialty pharmaceutical launches, or biologics
  • Background in buy-and-bill or specialty product promotion, including use of Specialty Pharmacy and HUB services
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new ideas
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of healthcare stakeholders (KOLs, payors, etc.) within the assigned territory
  • High intrinsic motivation and drive for success
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong analytical, business planning, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory based on business needs (excluding national and training meetings)
  • Must live and work within the assigned territory
  • Ability to attend all company-sponsored events, meetings, and conferences
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Demonstrates the highest levels of ethics, integrity, and trust
  • Operates in full compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards
