About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and foster relationships with academic institutions by presenting AVEVA’s offerings and embedding its software into university curricula
- Improve existing academic engagements by driving adoption of existing and new AVEVA solutions
- Gather and research information to resolve academic inquiries using internal tools and team escalation when necessary
- Grow the region through increased institutional participation and adoption of core products and cloud solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance program goals and objectives, including logistics, marketing materials, event participation, and sponsorships
- Facilitate information flow among stakeholders involved in advancing the academic program and align priorities
- Develop educational onboarding ideas and execution plans across legal, commercial, pricing, and licensing dimensions
- Create partnerships that make AVEVA’s portfolio accessible and commercially affordable to educational institutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-9 years of experience in the industrial software world
- Significant experience with engineering solutions within the industrial marketplace
- Experience working with product and engineering teams
- Experience defining, developing and leading complex projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Experience communicating with cross-functional international teams
- Academic background or experience working with the academic community
- Ability to optimize and enhance university education programs/curricula by familiarizing institutions with AVEVA solutions
- Ability to manage and provide direction and work effectively with academic partners
- Sound commercial and business development skills to define and quantify a suitable delivery strategy
- Good understanding of AVEVA products and service offerings
- Deep knowledge of business processes, information flow and management practices for the marketplace
- Ability to pass drug screening and comprehensive background check
- Proof of work authorization as required by local law
