About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell AVEVA’s suite of products and services to new and growth customers
  • Drive growth and expand AVEVA’s market presence
  • Enable customers to leverage AVEVA’s agile data platform to manage engineering and process data as a unified digital twin
  • Meet sales goals while delivering value-driven solutions to new and existing accounts
  • Identify and engage customers that have not previously used AVEVA solutions
  • Secure new logos and expand market presence
  • Develop and nurture existing customer relationships to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities and increase ARR
  • Develop and execute account plans from prospecting and qualifying leads through closing deals
  • Achieve revenue targets and meet forecast requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional resources on account management
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products
  • Stay current on AVEVA products and sales methodologies through ongoing training
  • Deliver sales presentations addressing business needs and differentiating AVEVA technology
  • Resolve customer issues with internal teams
  • Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce using the MEDDPICC methodology
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record in direct sales, including relationship-building at all levels within client organizations
  • Experience selling SaaS or DaaS (Data as a Service) solutions
  • Strong business development experience focused on acquiring new customers
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex software and product agreements and own the entire sales process
  • Experience in industrial software, engineering software, or automation highly preferred
  • Knowledge of IT applications within process and automation industries preferred, not essential
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales framework preferred, not essential
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Organized and detail-focused, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Creative, curious, and open to feedback and continuous learning
  • Regular regional travel required, with occasional international travel
  • Must pass drug screening and comprehensive background check before employment
