About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Tier 1 and flagship event technology ecosystem end-to-end, ensuring registration, event app, email automation, CRM, and analytics/reporting platforms integrate and perform reliably
Lead event technology project delivery and go-live readiness, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, change control, stakeholder communications, runbooks, and support models
Support regional events as the technical events partner through consultation, standards, office hours, troubleshooting, and scalable adoption of Tier 1 best practices
Drive platform strategy and continuous improvement through roadmaps, reusable patterns, and efficiency, reliability, and attendee-experience improvements
Manage suppliers and internal stakeholders through requirements, configuration, integration, testing, and launch
Ensure secure event data capture and integrations with core systems such as Salesforce and Marketo, including consent, field mapping, deduplication, and QA/UAT
Coordinate event websites and landing pages with Web teams, improving UX and conversion through tracking, forms, accessibility, performance, and measurement
Standardize portfolio delivery with playbooks, templates, SOPs, training, testing checklists, integration standards, and reporting frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of proven experience delivering event technology for large, complex (Tier 1) events, including ownership of multiple platforms/tools
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering to deadlines across multiple stakeholders and vendors
Experience managing external technology suppliers and driving end-to-end implementation and quality outcomes
Practical understanding of integrations and event data flows (APIs/webhooks, field mapping, QA/UAT, reporting)
Experience working with registration and event platforms such as Swoogo (or equivalent)
Must undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before employment
Must provide proof of work authorization as applicable under local law
