About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead workshops and coaching sessions to guide customers in using the PI System successfully
- Act as a technical liaison to assigned customer accounts, collaborating with Customer Success Managers
- Lead strategic customer conversations for use case discovery and positioning AVEVA products and infrastructure
- Guide customers on the business value of the PI System across administration, operations, and executive levels
- Participate in internal and external training programs on emerging technologies and markets
- Deliver high-quality results for internal and external customers
- Drive adoption of PI Infrastructure through product demonstrations, Proof of Value, and promotional activities
- Assist with risk-versus-benefit analysis for deployment options
- Proactively promote enterprise-wide adoption and implementation of PI Infrastructure
- Mentor team members on industry, product, and technology topics
- Collaborate across AVEVA to optimize enterprise infrastructure benefits and customer outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or another technical field
- 5+ yrs. experience with real-time operational data systems within an industrial manufacturing and/or operating industry
- Hands on PI System experience, highly desired
- Strong leadership, customer service, and interpersonal relationship skills
- Solid oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems and share best practices
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple activities
- Experience working with C-level executives, a plus
- A background in architectures and enterprise-wide design methodologies, a plus
- Willing and able to travel, as required, possibly for up to 50%
- Successful applicants must undergo and pass a drug screening and comprehensive background check
- Proof of work authorization may be required
