About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand customers’ technology stacks, organizations, technology governance policies, and strategic objectives related to AVEVA solutions
  • Inform customers of best practices and help them avoid adoption hurdles
  • Identify configuration or design-related issues
  • Review functional capabilities and proposed changes to protect system performance and stability
  • Provide AVEVA application tuning and performance advice
  • Assess system readiness for upgrades and facilitate upgrade planning
  • Assist with major-version upgrades and adoption of new technology
  • Deliver feature-adoption advice, demonstrate new features, identify usage gaps, and recommend license optimization
  • Support resolution of technical issues causing stalled customer journeys or low adoption
  • Formulate remediation plans and lead execution with IAC, CSM, and AM
  • Deliver Success Accelerators and training offerings related to customers’ primary technology
  • Contribute to new or improved Success Accelerators and training collateral
  • Document and formally propose AVEVA product enhancements
  • Diagnose readiness issues and adoption obstacles, prescribing reactive and preventative solutions
  • Standardize AVEVA product adoption and configuration across projects, sites, and regions
  • Drive adoption, credit consumption, software expansion, churn reduction, customer satisfaction, and TAS revenue growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor level degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electrical Engineering, or at least 8 years of experience in absence of a degree
  • 5+ years performing technical support for AVEVA software of their specialty
  • 5+ years creating solutions with AVEVA products
  • 5+ years technical project management or technical lead engineering experience implementing AVEVA software solution projects
  • 5+ years technical pre-sales consultancy with AVEVA products
  • 5+ years solution support engineer experience with AVEVA products
  • Detailed understanding of how their primary technology is applied in the customer’s industry, including customer KPIs and typical outcomes
  • Excellent software technology acumen
  • Expert-level domain knowledge for which they are qualified
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with infrastructure environments related to AVEVA software deployments
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems and share best practices
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple activities
  • Valid passport required
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
  • Experience working with C-level executives, a plus
  • Background in architectures and enterprise-wide design methodologies, a plus
  • Successful completion of drug screening and comprehensive background check
  • Proof of work authorization may be required during background checks
