About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development and execution of landowner outreach strategies for large-scale infrastructure and real estate acquisition projects
  • Develop, coordinate, and distribute landowner communications, mailings, notices, and other outreach materials
  • Coordinate real estate and landowner outreach activities across government client teams
  • Facilitate information sharing, track requests and action items, address outstanding needs, and support timely completion of project milestones
  • Oversee the Certificate of Inspection and Possession (CIP) process
  • Coordinate CIP requests, review submissions for completeness, track requests through completion, maintain documentation, and follow up on outstanding actions
  • Develop and improve standardized workflows, trackers, procedures, and guidance
  • Manage project tracking tools, schedules, and documentation for outreach, communications, responses, CIP activities, milestones, deadlines, contacts, decisions, and action items
  • Monitor project activities, identify issues or delays, coordinate resolutions, and track actions through closure
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for leadership
  • Perform other real estate outreach, project coordination, process management, and related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in real estate coordination, landowner outreach, project coordination, program support, communications, or related fields
  • Preferably experience supporting federal government, infrastructure, real estate, or land acquisition projects
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams and maintaining project workflows, trackers, schedules, communication logs, action items, and supporting documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing outreach materials, correspondence, procedures, guidance, status updates, and other project communications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to proactively identify potential issues or delays and coordinate actions through resolution
  • Experience developing, documenting, and improving processes and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability determination, public trust, or security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be available to work onsite at federal client sites in Washington, DC
  • Must have a steady internet connection and a phone
