Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the daily operations of the Solus repair shop
  • Prepare body panels, including fenders, bumpers, and other vehicle components
  • Perform necessary frame straightening, dent repair, and restoration work
  • Ensure repairs meet industry and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while complying with workplace safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the production team in a customer-focused environment
  • Perform high-quality repairs to promote customer satisfaction and financial performance
  • Keep the promises made to customers and ensure they receive their vehicles back as quickly as possible
  • Promote the values and objectives of the Aviva Auto Service Centre

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • French language proficiency required
  • Red Seal certification as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Practical knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation
  • Experience repairing body panels and excellent understanding of repair methods
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance, refurbishment, and repair practices and procedures
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions
  • Detail-oriented approach and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure
