About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the face of the Aviva AutoCare Centre and support customers throughout the collision repair process
- Carry out duties across customer service, parts, planning transportation, and driving
- Ensure vehicles are collected, repaired, and returned to customers within expected time standards
- Prioritize duties with site leaders to drive high customer satisfaction
- Provide repair updates face-to-face, by email, phone, or text
- Collect excess payments accurately and promptly
- Resolve customer queries professionally with a customer-first approach
- Safely and courteously pick up customer vehicles, drive them to the fulfilment centre, and return them to the agreed location
- Make decisions that positively impact the site and customer; escalate issues when appropriate
- Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals
- Commit to continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience working within the collision repair industry
- Knowledge of collision repair industry and insurance principles considered an asset
- Solid knowledge of automotive/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and procedures
- Adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset toward new work practices and technologies
- Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
- Strong customer-focused background with excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Detail-oriented approach with exceptional quality control
- Proven ability to take direction and perform well under pressure
