Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, integrate, test, and maintain network infrastructures
Optimize system performance, reliability, and security
Support troubleshooting activities and network management
Protect IT environments
Conduct ongoing activities in the Marche region for a minimum period of 12 months
Travel within Italy and abroad
Prepare technical documentation, including requirement specifications, statements of work, technical notes, progress reports, and minutes of meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of professional experience in networking activities, network infrastructure management, and cybersecurity
Availability to carry out ongoing activities in the Marche region for a minimum period of 12 months
CCNA and/or CCNP certifications are considered a strong advantage
Good command of the English language
Availability to travel within Italy and abroad
Analysis, design, and troubleshooting capabilities
Expertise in networking and security technologies
Advanced knowledge of network technologies based on Cisco and Extreme Networks switch/router devices
Advanced knowledge of virtualization environments (Proxmox/VMWare) and Docker/Orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
Advanced knowledge of Network Security technologies (e.g., firewalls)
Basic knowledge of Information Security (InfoSec)
Knowledge of major networking protocols
Knowledge of the Linux operating system and scripting tools
Ability to read plant/system diagrams and schematics
Ability to use laboratory instrumentation related to networking technologies: Switching, Routing, and Network Management
Ability to prepare technical documentation (Requirement Specifications, Statements of Work, Technical Notes, Progress Reports, Minutes of Meetings)
