About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data for accounting and business operations management
  • Generate financial forecasts and create financial models supporting financial and business planning decisions
  • Provide management with P&L projections/forecasts, scenario planning, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis
  • Perform economic research and studies on rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and governmental requirements
  • Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts
  • Respond to information requests from internal customers and others as assigned
  • Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and narrative results analysis
  • Develop and distribute standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting
  • Review and analyze reports to verify results
  • Work with management to develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators
  • Assist with the development, preparation, and presentation of short- and long-range financial plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
  • Knowledge of GAAP and complex accounting systems
  • Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline
  • Competence in all job functions and general understanding of industry practices, techniques and standards
  • Ability to develop solutions for a variety of situations and evaluate and analyze projects
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment and discretion
