About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, lead, monitor, and coordinate technology and business projects and programs
- Manage projects or assigned project components to meet cost, schedule, scope, and deliverable requirements
- Manage time, cost, schedules, quality, procurement, communication, and risk
- Direct and coordinate project personnel to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Provide leadership to project team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Determine methods and resources needed to achieve project goals
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans
- Coordinate activities and collaborate with stakeholders across global departments
- Facilitate meetings, problem-solving, decision-making, and implementation strategy discussions
- Formulate conclusions, recommendations, and options
- Present and justify findings and recommendations to management and customers
- Manage projects and programs spanning multiple departments and regions
- Manage vendor relationships and liaise between vendors, project teams, and leadership
- Identify, manage, and mitigate issues and risks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
- Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines
- Ability to engage and influence at all levels of the global organization
- Experience managing large-scale, complex, high-risk projects, including GIS projects
- Expertise in project management principles, theories, techniques, and tools
- Knowledge of time, cost, schedules, quality, procurement, communication, and risk management
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and vendor cost, quality, and schedules
- Ability to work independently using judgment and discretion
- Ability to serve as a consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson
- Ability to lead and coach less experienced team members
