About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the IT portfolio
  • Ensure projects align with strategic business objectives and meet time, cost, and quality constraints
  • Develop and maintain project decks, plans, schedules, status reports, risk registers, and lessons learned
  • Facilitate written and verbal project communication, status meetings, steering committees, and executive briefings
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT technical teams
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure mutual understanding of project goals
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams
  • Lead end-to-end development of business and technical solutions, including design, testing, and maintenance
  • Assess and monitor project risks and issues and implement contingency and mitigation strategies
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation, track expenditures, and forecast needs
  • Establish and track project performance metrics and KPIs
  • Report project health, progress, and ROI to leadership
  • Report to the Senior Vice President of Transformation Office & Enterprise PMO

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 6 years
  • 2 years of experience supervising a team of professionals engaged in executing project management
  • 6 years of experience engaged in developing and delivering project management programs, including managing large scale complex projects
  • A bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 3 of the 6-year requirement
  • 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
  • Experience defining, implementing, and coaching others in project management methodologies and governance
  • Expertise in Portfolio/Demand management concepts and benefits; proven track record of implementing these concepts and delivering PPM benefits
  • Business acumen and understanding of the long-term implications of project management planning
  • Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, employee population, and individual circumstances
  • Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments through coaching, developing, and leading teams
  • Flexibility for virtual collaboration across multiple time zones
