About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and build strong, long-term, collaborative customer relationships
  • Understand the relevant business agreements with customers and ensure compliance with them
  • Develop and implement individual customer plans for product, color, and service requirements
  • Communicate the value and benefits of Axalta products, colors, and services
  • Analyze customer needs and make targeted use of internal resources
  • Communicate in a structured manner, conduct regular customer visits, and maintain complete documentation in Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Follow up on issues and provide guidance on process improvements
  • Contribute to regional team objectives related to revenue, profitability, customer retention, and sales management
  • Support SOPs and promote Axalta training programs and local performance groups
  • Lead and coordinate paint conversion projects and involve the required sales resources
  • Maintain and update customer and contact data in Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Use SharePoint, Pitcher, Salesforce, and MS Office to increase productivity and improve communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of professional sales experience, preferably in automotive refinishing, with a proven track record in customer service and account management
  • Completed training as an automotive refinishing technician, a master craftsman qualification, a bachelor's degree, or at least 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair, commercial transportation, industrial applications, and basic sales principles
  • Good knowledge of Axalta's core product lines and the body shop business
  • Strong ability to identify customer needs, respond quickly, and resolve issues through collaborative solutions
  • High level of self-discipline and accountability in an autonomous work environment
  • Professional demeanor at all organizational levels and awareness of how one's actions affect the customer
  • Team-oriented approach and active support of regional sales activities to achieve shared goals
  • Confident, persuasive, and goal-oriented written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High willingness to travel (at least 70% of working time)
