About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate Infrastructure and IRM strategy into a sequenced, outcome-based portfolio
Lead annual and multi-year portfolio planning, demand shaping, scope and estimation, resource planning, and sequencing
Challenge business cases and direct investment toward resilience, risk reduction, and business value
Mobilize initiatives, teams, capabilities, partners, and resources
Lead delivery across infrastructure and cloud modernization, network, end-user technology, identity and access management, security operations, and technology resilience
Manage portfolio performance, dependencies, delivery risks, conflicts, and corrective actions
Oversee design, build, testing, deployment, cutover, and stabilization
Manage third-party and staff-augmentation partners, statements of work, contracts, rates, performance, cost, and capacity
Drive automation and AI use cases from discovery through pilot and scaled rollout
Ensure security by design, human oversight, risk management, controls, acceptance criteria, and value expectations
Lead the transition from project-based delivery to persistent, product-aligned Agile teams
Establish portfolio intake, prioritization, capacity allocation, planning cadences, and decision rights
Use delivery and flow measures to provide portfolio visibility and continuous improvement
Own portfolio forecasts, actuals, accruals, variances, funding, and capacity reallocation
Provide transparent reporting on progress, spend, risk, value, and portfolio health
Define outcome measures and track benefits realization and risk reduction
Run portfolio governance, steering committees, decision logs, and stage gates
Manage scope and change control and partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit
Influence senior stakeholders, secure decisions, align priorities and investment, and drive adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree required
10+ years of technology delivery leadership experience
Experience across complex, multi-workstream global infrastructure, security, or technology transformation portfolios
Experience in insurance or reinsurance; broader financial services experience will be considered
Proven portfolio execution across dependencies, delivery risk, investment, governance, stakeholders, and third-party partners
Experience managing significant technology budgets, business cases, vendor commercials, and value-based trade-offs
Experience influencing senior executives and sponsors and preparing executive-level reporting and steering committee materials
Experience delivering across multiple regions, time zones, and regulatory environments
Experience with infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, cybersecurity, automation, or AI-enabled solutions
Experience leading Agile or product-aligned delivery transformations
Flexibility to work across time zones and travel internationally as required
