About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the point person within Axis for assigned major end-customer account relationships
- Manage all aspects of assigned account relationships from inception and assignment through transition
- Strategically manage accounts to deepen the Axis relationship across product lines, geographic boundaries, and extended time horizons
- Participate in account sales and implementation, including presentations, proposals, pilot-install site management, and integration testing
- Manage relationships with end users and ecosystem partners
- Build account teams and coordinate resources and communication across sales, business development, marketing, and technical services
- Write and maintain account documentation, including meeting minutes, notes, designs, Axis CRM records, and tracking tools
- Participate in account design, including site surveys, camera recommendations, camera placement, field of view, pixels on target, site drawings, system design, third-party recommendations, and integration
- Maintain precise product configuration and specification documentation
- Assemble weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting as required
- Coordinate post-sales support and technical assistance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or Information Systems
- 5+ years in Sales, National / Key Accounts, Sales Engineering, or Project Management, ideally in video and physical security markets
- Strong account management and team-building skills
- Proven ability to build strategic and trusted end-user relationships
- Ability to manage relationships with multiple integrators, distributors, and partners
- Strong verbal, listening, written, presentation, and training skills
- High technical ability for shootouts, proof of concepts, pilots, and pre- and post-sale troubleshooting
- Ability to convey complex technologies and specifications clearly
- Experienced design documentation skills, including schematics, flow charts, metrics, FOV, and pixels on target
- Strong knowledge of the physical security market, products, and future trends
- Knowledge of video transport protocols and compression technologies
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Ability to occasionally lift 20–40 lbs
- Ability to climb and stand on ladders or lifts for extended periods
- Ability to work at heights, including ceilings, ladders, and rooftops
- Up to 60% travel expected on occasion
- Must reside in the Eastern Wisconsin area
