About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and own a strategic alliance roadmap
  • Identify and prioritize high-value partnership opportunities
  • Drive the full partner lifecycle, including prospecting, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and activation
  • Establish and maintain C-suite and VP-level relationships with strategic partners
  • Lead complex, multi-party technology integration agreement negotiations
  • Own and report on partnership-sourced and partnership-influenced revenue targets and trends
  • Design and execute joint go-to-market plans with defined KPIs
  • Identify revenue streams and market expansion opportunities through ecosystem relationships, co-marketing, co-selling, and demand generation
  • Advocate internally for partner priorities across Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance
  • Use partner feedback to influence product roadmap decisions
  • Represent the organization at partner summits, industry conferences, and executive briefings
  • Facilitate quarterly executive business reviews
  • Implement alliance governance frameworks, scorecards, metrics, and escalation protocols
  • Report pipeline contribution, ROI, and emerging risks to senior leadership
  • Mentor and develop alliance team members
  • Develop and commercialize technology partner relationships across device management, IT infrastructure, unified communications, and cloud platform services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in business development or similar related experience
  • Security and/or IT industry commercialization, technical and product knowledge
  • Strong, proactive partner management skills with a strategic vision
  • Proven ability to build collaborative, trusted relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of an organization
  • Resiliency, change-driving ability, and flexibility
  • Strong follow-up, time management, and organizational skills
  • Expected travel up to 50%, including international travel
  • Ability to occasionally lift 20–25 lbs.
  • Sales experience, Salesforce experience, Microsoft 365 experience, Axis Certified Professional certification, and industry accreditations such as Cisco CCNA, BICSI RCDD, or Microsoft MCP are valued but not required
