About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop and expand strategic relationships with healthcare organizations across assigned markets
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hospital and health-system executives on workforce challenges
- Develop and execute market-development strategies driving new business, revenue growth and long-term client partnerships
- Build relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders across nursing, human resources, finance, operations, supply chain, workforce management and clinical services
- Identify organizations facing labor-cost, staffing, recruitment, retention, scheduling and workforce-capacity challenges
- Present Aya Healthcare as a strategic workforce partner
- Position and coordinate Aya solutions including managed service provider programs, healthcare staffing, locum tenens, physician recruitment, permanent recruitment, workforce technology, float pools, on-demand staffing, workforce AI, analytics, predictive planning, international talent, direct-hire programs, advisory, payrolling and workforce-disruption services
- Lead consultative discovery meetings, executive presentations, demonstrations, proposal development and customer negotiations
- Partner with Business Development on executive-level business cases demonstrating measurable value
- Monitor healthcare labor-market trends, competitive activity, regional workforce dynamics and emerging client needs
- Represent Aya at healthcare conferences, executive forums, industry events and strategic networking opportunities
- Promote responsiveness, accountability, collaboration, innovation and care for clients, clinicians and colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, nursing or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in healthcare business development, strategic sales, consulting, staffing, workforce solutions or health-system partnerships
- Demonstrated success selling complex solutions to hospitals, health systems or other healthcare organizations
- Proven ability to establish relationships with senior executives and influence decisions across multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, labor economics, workforce strategy and provider challenges
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
- Ability to translate complex workforce challenges into clear, compelling business solutions
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned market and nationally as needed
- Preferred: experience with managed service provider programs, vendor management systems, healthcare staffing, workforce technology or permanent recruitment
- Preferred: existing relationships with hospital and health-system executives
- Preferred: experience selling enterprise-level solutions across multiple facilities or service lines
- Preferred: familiarity with healthcare finance, labor productivity, contingent workforce spend and workforce analytics
- Preferred: Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related discipline
