About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the North America Advocacy strategy in market
  • Ensure brand stories are communicated consistently, convincingly, and with commercial relevance across the Bacardi portfolio
  • Support the ambassador team in building authentic relationships with on-premise accounts, bartenders, beverage directors, and cocktail enthusiasts
  • Develop and maintain education materials in multiple formats, including category-level knowledge and brand storytelling
  • Represent Bacardi at key trade events and market-level activations
  • Contribute to community partnerships such as the FIU/Bacardi Center of Excellence
  • Partner with Commercial/CPA to align advocacy activity and investment with commercial priorities, account plans, and business objectives
  • Communicate advocacy programming and events to BUSA field-based commercial teams
  • Collaborate with Marketing on the Integrated Activity Planning process
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing to create tools that drive desire, relevance, and rate of sale
  • Track market performance using financial metrics and return on investment by market, city, account, and ambassador
  • Manage KPI targeting and tracking and prepare monthly performance reports for senior leadership
  • Share best practices with key stakeholders
  • Channel on-premise insights, trends, and analytics into actionable programming opportunities
  • Create digital advocacy content, social content, and online community engagement as part of a year-round content calendar

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-10 years’ experience working in on-premise and/or brand roles at Manager level or similar
  • Established relationships within the on-premise community
  • Deep understanding of bartenders’ and operators’ priorities
  • Ability to translate brand history, liquid credentials, and category knowledge into compelling narratives
  • Understanding of how advocacy activity connects to rate-of-sale, menu placement, and account profitability
  • Proven ability to manage a complex, multi-account, multi-brand market calendar
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with commercial data, advocacy metrics, and tools such as Ground Signal
  • Ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and think-outside-the-box mindset
  • Strong capacity to create a culture of belonging
  • High self-awareness and understanding of personal impact
