About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the day-to-day governance, planning, and execution of Bacardi’s global SOX program
  • Evolve the function through stronger business partnership, control optimization, technology, and talent development

  • Manage the external auditor relationship, including reliance strategy and issue management
  • Refine and consistently apply SOX methodology and quality expectations
  • Advance control automation, testing efficiency, analytics, and responsible AI use
  • Prepare for the transition of new controls with S4 as part of Transformation
  • Lead, coach, and develop a global high-performing team
  • Manage talent transitions and deployment while maintaining continuity, role clarity, and delivery quality
  • Set clear expectations and support technical, business, and leadership development

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of business process and IT controls, control governance, testing, and deficiency evaluation
  • Deep SOX expertise
  • Practical business judgment and ability to challenge the status quo
