About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Articulate Bacardi’s vision and roadmap in the designated state/region.
  • Develop and execute market strategy to achieve maximum performance.
  • Manage brokers/distributors and build relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Lead, guide, and develop a successful sales team through actionable strategies, plans, and programs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for local distributor leadership and partners.
  • Lead business management and achieve fiscal-year sales goals.
  • Develop and execute sales programs and pricing strategy.
  • Review monthly account performance, including revenue and value creation.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual planning and review meetings with franchise distributors.
  • Monitor distributor KPIs, price points, orders, shipments, samples, training, and POS management.
  • Supervise direct reports and guide indirect reports, influencers, and ambassadors.
  • Build relationships with regional chains, independent on- and off-premise accounts, franchise distributors, and management personnel.
  • Deliver fact-based selling presentations and monthly GSMs communicating BUSA objectives and brand strategies.
  • Conduct quarterly market analysis surveys and KPI audits.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports and status and accomplishment recaps to the Regional Director.
  • Own the region’s P&L and produce effective forecasting to increase profitability.
  • Analyze competition and monitor competitor offerings and staffing changes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related area.
  • Ideally 5+ years field sales experience, preferably in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry.
  • Ideally supervisory/management experience and positive track record of developing winning teams.
  • Ability to create, maintain and build long-lasting relationships with key accounts, distributors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of performance and delivery against KPIs and annual goals and targets.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to give presentations to small groups, executives, distributor partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
  • Based in Alabama/Mississippi.
