About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own systems behind seller after-sales care, including claims, repair or replacement, refunds, seller communications, and the Seller API
Build and evolve products end to end
Help automate resolution flows and move seller actions to provide the best resolution experience for customers
Work closely with squad members and the Staff Engineer
Participate in bi-monthly rituals with the group and Chapter
Work in a build-it-and-run-it environment
Build, launch, monitor, and support owned products
Deliver seamless user experiences at scale
Produce clean, consistent, and well-organized code
Work autonomously on development tasks within the team's application or service
Deliver high-quality code on time
Collaborate professionally with teammates and peers
Operate autonomously within the squad's technical scope

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years backend development experience
Strong system design skills
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
Understanding of data architecture and APIs
Experience with performance optimization and scalability
Experience or knowledge with modern JavaScript frameworks
Understanding of state management, routing, and API integration
Consideration of performance, accessibility, and UX in implementations
End-to-end product thinking
Curiosity about the full stack
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity across technical domains
Experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, Nuxt, Storybook, Tailwind, Python, FastAPI, Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, BigQuery, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, CircleCI, GitHub, BackStage, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
English must be a no-brainer
