Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the contract labor process, including weekly check support emails to agencies, new contractor setups, contractor updates, and responses to agency questions/issues
  • Assist with Procurement Accounts Payable aging issues
  • Reconcile general ledger account activity
  • Assist with travel exception reporting and clear errors in a timely manner
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Improve accounting knowledge and skills through continuing education and training
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent and two (2) Years’ experience in a related area; OR a High School education or equivalent with additional courses in Math and Accounting and a minimum of six (6) years directly related experience; OR equivalent experience
  • High clerical accuracy
  • Independent judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with Oracle
  • General knowledge of industry practices and standards
