About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Lifecycle Management team within the Program Services Tools & Training team
Manage multiple employees, providing direction on day-to-day activities and career development
Partner with Business Area Lifecycle Management leads as liaisons to program teams
Establish communication and feedback loops to ensure compliance with Lifecycle Cost Management policy
Set quarterly directions and guide quarterly reporting requirements, including PPR Packs, CSRs, and One-Liner Reporting
Set policy, procedures, and guidance for EACs and small project reporting
Coordinate or lead Project Finance Financial Control Framework audits and COSA/internal audit processes
Partner with Accounting to coordinate Deloitte Program Audit Support
Coordinate the Business Risk Management Register
Manage, review, and approve Command Media policy and procedure changes
Lead quarterly business analysis and management reporting for consolidated CFO reviews and QBR reporting
Analyze patterns, changes, and trends related to EACs, RYG, phase review, and contingency
Advance data analytics and trend analysis for Sector, Business Areas, and Product Lines
Identify and implement process and tool improvements to optimize processes and drive efficiencies
Create and lead training to enhance Program Finance acumen
Partner with Program Excellence on risks and opportunities to drive compliance, financial acumen, and integrity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Program Control experience working with various contract types
Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of management and finance employees
Experience presenting financial data accurately and concisely to other functions and senior leadership
Experience leading teams and/or special projects
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, process/results oriented
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and innovation
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to develop achievable schedules and hold stakeholders accountable
Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy
Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot
Preferred: Experience with BAE Financial Systems including Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, and Cobra
Preferred: EVMS knowledge
Preferred: Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices, standards, and company policies
Preferred: Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
