About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Educate, support, and build partnerships with providers and office teams
  • Manage an assigned territory of provider practices throughout Arizona
  • Communicate health plan initiatives and education to physicians and office staff
  • Serve as the primary relationship point for designated offices/territories
  • Manage office relationships, contract requests, and contract expansion
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations
  • Coordinate activities, exchange information, and resolve program-related problems
  • Gather data and support improvement efforts and financial performance
  • Coordinate and oversee implementation of improvements
  • Travel frequently to physician offices for site visits, staff education, and problem resolution
  • Review analyses and reports to measure progress toward goals
  • Implement process improvement addressing clinical and operational performance
  • Provide recommendations to company leadership
  • Maintain reporting and communication for timelines and deliverables
  • Work independently under general supervision and interact with Banner leadership, personnel, regulatory agencies, outside organizations, and vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare related field or equivalent experience
  • One to two years experience in clinical care or a role supporting clinical or provider operations
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
  • Understanding of health plan operations, CMS regulations, AHCCCS requirements, and regulatory deliverables
  • Experience supporting Medicaid Behavioral Health and Long-Term Care populations highly desirable
  • Knowledge of private insurance plans, accountable care organizations (ACOs), clinically integrated networks, skilled nursing, and other value-based care models preferred
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Public speaking experience, including developing presentation content and delivering training or educational sessions, required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and ability to work independently
  • Must reside in Maricopa County, Arizona
  • Proficiency in sophisticated software programs
  • Current clinical license/certification or equivalent experience preferred
