About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide financial and administrative support for design, construction, renovation, and operational projects
- Prepare financial and statistical reports and coordinate the facility month-end close process with corporate finance
- Create and generate data analysis reports
- Maintain statistical, contractual, and financial databases
- Create and maintain electronic project files from inception through closeout and archiving
- Manage capital budgets, forecasts, program reporting and analysis, charge management, cost accounting, decision support, and reimbursement analysis
- Reconcile commitments and accounts monthly and generate budget adjustments as needed
- Act as a technical resource and liaison to management, administrators, department heads, and coworkers on financial and contractual issues
- Review, analyze, and process architect, engineering, and contractor payments, commitments, amendments, change orders, purchase requisitions, and invoices
- Ensure proper authorization, timely handling, compliance, and resolution of payment and contractual issues
- Collaborate with Finance, Information Technology, Technology Management, Purchasing, Facility Leadership, and project teams
- Support multiple new and renovation projects based on size and complexity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or construction management, or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Proven analytical skills
- Proficiency with sophisticated software programs and office desktop applications
- Excellent human relations, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand technical pronouncements
- Ability to identify compliance issues
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
