About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, design, configure, implement, and support PaaS solutions, related services, processes, applications, and integrations
Lead project teams and influence IT functional areas, product owners, and vendors
Develop detailed designs and execute and troubleshoot strategic solutions
Resolve application and configuration issues and concerns
Perform ongoing performance analysis and implement approved changes
Ensure continual service improvements
Architect cloud services spanning storage, security, networking, and compute capabilities
Provide application production support, deployment, and monitoring
Develop tools to support production activities
Lead mission-critical applications and associated platforms
Maintain high levels of availability, security, performance, and stability
Design and build automation-focused tools and solutions to reduce or eliminate trivial support activities
Anticipate business challenges and recommend best practices
Manage projects or programs and potentially budgets for large or complex projects
Solve unique and complex problems with broad business impact
Develop innovative services, technologies, processes, or products
Interact with customers, peers, managers, patients, and physicians across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working knowledge
Eight to twelve years' work experience developing Enterprise Applications
In-depth knowledge of concepts within the job function
Strong knowledge of programming and cloud technology
Experience in medium-scale project planning
Ability to mentor less experienced team members
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to explain and resolve complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to influence and interact across facilities and at various levels
Ability to work variable shifts and hours and carry/respond to a pager as required
Cloud platform certifications preferred: AZ-301, AZ-400, and AZ-500
Three to four years' experience implementing Enterprise Cloud Solutions preferred
Strong working knowledge of Java/C++/C#/.Net Core, hardware environment, and program logic
Additional related education and/or experience preferred
