About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team providing strategic planning and direction for healthcare operations
- Provide information to internal and external auditors regarding patient logistics, licensing, scheduling, and general operations
- Manage software systems for scheduling support and patient logistics
- Lead and develop a team responsible for operational best practices and contractual and regulatory compliance
- Identify, develop, validate, distribute, and present management reports and analyses
- Provide leadership and support for system-wide, multidisciplinary task forces and work groups
- Develop staff technical, managerial, analytical, and operational skills
- Coordinate requests for new software systems and tools with system teams and vendors
- Develop and maintain dashboards and programs monitoring performance and results
- Oversee the business side, analytics, volumes, efficiency, case times, and utilization of EP, Endo, and Cath Lab operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree level of knowledge in business, finance, or related fields
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible managerial experience in Operations or Healthcare
- Minimum of three years of experience within a major health care organization, health system setting, or large multi-operational corporate environment in complex industries similar to healthcare
- Advanced-level working knowledge of principles, practices, and operations in the assigned area of responsibility
- Good analytical and interpretive skills to evaluate financial and operational performance
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of management and external contacts
- Master's degree in a related area preferred
- Broad, general knowledge of the health care environment advantageous
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred
- Must support a drug-free work environment
