About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide concierge service and high-level customer service to assist with wayfinding
- Act as a local resource to visitors and help ensure a pleasurable and safe environment
- Meet, greet and assist patients and guests
- Provide general information about services, facilities and the surrounding geographical area
- Respond to special requests and arrange transportation or other services
- Gather and provide information about property amenities and nearby establishments
- Coordinate patient needs with other departments and contact appropriate personnel
- Coordinate access to care delivery areas and perform visitor authorization procedures
- Serve as liaison between visitors and staff and relay visitor concerns
- Answer phones, transfer calls, take messages and relay information
- Provide facility tours and walk customers to appropriate areas
- Assist with patient and guest inquiries with minimal supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Customer service experience
- Ability to direct or walk patients to the correct or desired location
- Ability to handle ongoing face-to-face contact with patients, guests and staff
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to interact pleasantly and calmly with patients, guests and staff
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred
