About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drafting low-complexity court filings under supervision
- Issuing court fee payment forms and monitoring payments
- Updating internal systems, such as CPJ and other legal software
- Tracking cases across different courts, instances, and systems
- Monitoring case updates, filing published notices, and managing deadlines
- Contacting courts, registries, and administrative authorities regarding routine matters and information requests
- Preparing internal and external reports and opinions for clients
- Conducting legal research on legal scholarship and case law to support legal filings and opinions
- Participating in internal and external meetings when requested
- Assisting with the organization of physical and digital documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a Law degree program, up to the 8th semester
- Experience in Corporate Law, Civil Law, and Civil Procedure is a plus
- Practical knowledge of major electronic court filing systems, including PJe, e-SAJ, Projudi, E-proc, and others, is a plus
- Knowledge of registry office procedures and litigation deadlines is a plus
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including formatting legal filings, maintaining tracking spreadsheets, and creating simple charts, is a plus
- Ability to research case law and legal scholarship through the STJ, STF, State Courts of Justice, Federal Regional Courts, and legal websites is a plus
