Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate, install, and maintain PC hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Deliver technical customer support over the phone
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of technical computer-related problems
  • Identify, evaluate, and solve end-user workstation problems
  • Repair, maintain, upgrade, and install computers and related peripheral equipment
  • Perform diagnostic testing to determine problem sources and make necessary repairs
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed
  • Handle installation of new systems and equipment efficiently
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed
  • Maintain testing equipment and repair tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • One or more years of related computer equipment repair experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Computer repair training and certification, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of computer parts, applications, and telecommunication systems
  • Good knowledge of techniques, tools, and processes involved in designing technical plans and models
  • Knowledge of appropriate testing and repair equipment
  • Ability to complete all fields on the application; enter NA where not applicable
