About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver superior member service throughout the lending process, from account opening to various loan services
Manage deposit services, including account opening, closure, and maintenance
Process loans, conduct loan interviews, and prepare applications for credit approval
Assist members electronically and in person
Promote and cross-sell the credit union's products and services
Enhance member relationships and loyalty
Resolve member issues and inquiries effectively and professionally

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience with a full-service financial institution is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union
Knowledge of loan processing functions, requirements, and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems
Comprehensive background check required as part of the hiring process
Drug screening required as part of the hiring process
Online skill assessment required prior to an offer of employment
