About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure successful deployment of multiple greenfield data centers, including BMS and EPMS scopes
Receive applications from the design team and deploy them to each site
Perform point-to-point checkout of thousands of devices
Configure communication protocols for switchgear, breakers, power meters and other equipment
Configure and calibrate instruments, including meters, VFDs and flow meters
Deploy and commission Ignition applications, Rockwell controls and/or similar PLC and SCADA control systems
Provide guidance and leadership to Design Group subcontractors and electricians onsite
Execute hands-on control-system, networking-infrastructure and integrated-technology deployments
Configure hardware, validate system functionality and support commissioning activities
Follow established processes and execute deployments safely, accurately and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Experience starting up control systems with significant onsite time
Strong communicator and ability/desire to work within large teams
Passion for the success of teams and projects
Must reside in the vicinity of the data centers for quick access to all data centers in the region
Relocation timing is negotiable, dependent on location and opportunity
