About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own EMEA across all segments and markets
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard 20+ people this year, including front-line leaders and sellers
  • Build pipeline, run deals, and close business directly while the team is forming
  • Establish Baseten’s London footprint, reputation with EMEA buyers, and local enterprise-buying playbook
  • Adapt the AMER sales motion to technical buyers in EMEA
  • Partner with US-based Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Solutions, and Recruiting teams with significant US timezone overlap
  • Set standards for execution, forecasting rigor, and speed as the region scales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven hiring track record; built teams quickly and hired leaders, not just ICs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people
  • Second-line leadership experience; managed managers and owned a multi-team organization
  • Enterprise selling experience against a technical line of business
  • Ability to engage with engineering and infrastructure buyers
  • Willingness to develop deeper expertise in inference
  • Ability to build pipeline, close deals, and recruit simultaneously
  • Knowledge of EMEA regional markets and how enterprise buying differs from the US
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-intensity environment
  • Builder’s mentality and comfort with high-change, unstructured environments
  • Right to work in the UK for the duration of the role without requiring employer sponsorship
  • Must be able to work onsite at the London office Tuesday–Thursday
