About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative, operational, and program support across the Employee Experience and Engagement and Business Partner teams
  • Support recurring priorities, requests, communications, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Monitor Workday Help, support manager office hours, answer day-to-day questions, provide policy and people-process guidance, triage matters, track requests, and ensure timely follow-through
  • Provide a trusted venue for employee questions, feedback, and concerns, escalating sensitive or complex matters when appropriate
  • Coordinate voluntary offboarding, exit interviews, leave-of-absence documentation, Workday transactions and tasks, Workday testing, and tracker maintenance
  • Support employee check-ins and focus groups and identify themes informing employee experience
  • Share insights from exit interviews, check-ins, listening efforts, and routine requests
  • Guide employees and managers on growth opportunities, performance, engagement, and retention
  • Support performance reviews, talent assessments, merit cycles, talent movement, retention efforts, communications, reporting, scheduling, and process administration
  • Administer employee experience and culture programs including Basis Bravo, Basis Cares, recognition, mentorship, Workhuman, and culture campaigns
  • Support Basis Neighborhood Networks, HQ Week, employee appreciation efforts, events, resources, and communications
  • Partner across Talent and Development to plan, coordinate, communicate, execute, and sustain programs
  • Support projects and miscellaneous team needs

  • Ability to work autonomously and at a fast pace; initiative and results focused
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Comfort learning and working within HR systems and tools
  • Commitment to inclusive, respectful environments
  • Thoughtful approach to collaboration, program execution, and decision-making prioritizing equity, access, and continuous learning
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree in business, Human Resource Management, a related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM certification preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, employee experience, employee relations, people program administration, program coordination, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience with Workday, Workhuman, employee lifecycle processes, or people program administration preferred
