About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the delivery and construction functions at the St Helens Depot
  • Ensure branch administrative activities are conducted efficiently, within required timescales and quality standards
  • Liaise with customers and coordinate and report on maintenance activity
  • Perform data entry and raise invoices
  • Handle enquiries and complaints professionally, escalating where necessary
  • Update databases daily
  • Book travel arrangements and overnight stays for branch staff
  • Raise Purchase Orders and Sundry Requests
  • Liaise with customers, councils and contractors regarding accounts, enquiries and discrepancies
  • Coordinate stock ordering and maintain spreadsheets identifying costs and discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly branch reports, spreadsheets and contract performance reports
  • Maintain health and safety records and training updates
  • Manage office and branch supplies, stationery, PPE clothing and beverages
  • Order maintenance stock
  • Conduct PPE inspections and update Eco-online
  • Support construction hub administration, including permits, build packs and liaison with external organisations and internal departments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced Administrator
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Customer service skills and a good telephone manner
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to the role
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office knowledge
  • A confident and flexible work ethic
