About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and promote Baxter’s Surgical Portfolio in the assigned territory
- Formulate and implement selling strategies for products of intermediate complexity
- Sell products directly to customers by phone and on site
- Engage existing customers for incremental purchases, pricing/delivery issues, and overall support
- Drive clinical adoption through product trials, demonstrations, and in-servicing
- Schedule and complete customer sales calls and follow up on opportunities
- Assist with customer product demonstrations
- Support site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms
- Build relationships with surgeons, nurses, and operating room staff
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants and other teams to achieve business goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school degree/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years experience or at least 4+ years related experience
- Inside or field sales role in the healthcare or similar industry preferred
- Medical device experience preferred
- Effective influencing skills with nurses and key decision makers
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Flexible, autonomous, and able to collaborate with multiple team members
- Must be willing/able to travel at least 75%
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
