About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate the Kiefel, SAPA, Grinder, and Blender safely
  • Troubleshoot, set up, and adjust equipment to produce quality products efficiently
  • Perform complete changeovers
  • Perform QA inspections and complete documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Transport raw materials and finished products following safe lifting guidelines
  • Identify and implement minor equipment and process improvements
  • Visually inspect filled bag assemblies for quality characteristics
  • Complete basic preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Participate in TPM teams and improvements
  • Work collaboratively with the Manufacturing team to meet customer order needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful completion of High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Experience doing repetitive tasks
  • Manufacturing and Quality background within a GMP setting
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance in present position
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Experience in successfully troubleshooting mechanical problems
  • Proven ability to be proactive and self-motivated on the job
  • Ability to comprehend Baxter Specifications/SOP’s and determine appropriate corrective actions
  • Ability to operate Kiefel machines, SAPA, 4-wheel trolleys, manual jacks, electric hoist, 4-wheel pushcart, QA tools and gauges, and computer
  • Ability to work the specified hybrid shift: Saturday and Sunday 11:00–23:00, Monday and Tuesday 15:00–23:00
