About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet or exceed regional sales quotas
- Develop comprehensive annual strategic regional plans for management review
- Develop and lead regional sales activities guided by Respiratory Health division goals and sales organization policies
- Manage a team of Account Executives and Clinical Specialists
- Partner with peer AVPs, RVP, and Sales VP to drive divisional sales policies, procedures, and strategies
- Build relationships with internal operations, finance, human resources, and other support functions to maximize profitability and efficiency
- Meet administrative expectations and adhere to company and regulatory/compliance policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Baxter’s processes, products, and services
- Cover Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Missouri, Northern Texas, and Northern Louisiana
- Travel 60–75%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a top-level sales performer in the medical device or healthcare industry
- 3+ years of leadership experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated experience effectively hiring, developing, and managing the performance of a sales team
- Demonstrated ability to work with and build customer relationships
- Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
