About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Corporate FP&A, including enterprise budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, monthly performance management, scenario analysis and executive financial reporting
  • Establish and manage a disciplined FP&A operating cadence, including forecast reviews, monthly business reviews, risks and opportunities, and timely delivery of management reporting
  • Provide financial leadership and decision support to the VP of FP&A, CFO and senior leadership through analysis of performance, trends, drivers and forward-looking scenarios
  • Lead, develop and organize a high-performing FP&A team with clear accountability, analytical standards, succession planning and professional development
  • Oversee FP&A systems strategy, administration and governance, including maintenance, enhancement and scalability of Adaptive Planning
  • Lead the build-out and continuous improvement of Tableau dashboards and business intelligence reporting for financial and operational KPIs
  • Establish data and reporting governance across FP&A systems and dashboards, including definitions, data integrity, controls and a single source of truth
  • Partner with Operations FP&A, Commercial Finance, Accounting, business leaders and technology/data teams to align assumptions, improve forecast accuracy and integrate financial and operational information
  • Drive automation and process improvements across planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics
  • Support Board, investor and IPO-readiness requirements through financial analysis, planning processes, controls and executive-ready reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance or related experience, including 7+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams and partner effectively with senior executives
  • Experience overseeing enterprise planning systems and business intelligence/reporting capabilities
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong process, data and systems orientation with demonstrated ability to improve finance controls, reporting and scalability
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Preferred: MBA, CPA or other relevant advanced degree/certification
  • Preferred: Hands-on leadership experience with Adaptive Planning and Tableau, or comparable enterprise planning and BI platforms
  • Preferred: Experience in a high-growth, public-company or IPO-readiness environment
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services or another operationally complex business
  • Must comply with all company policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements
