About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for diagnostic genomic offerings
- Partner with R&D and clinical teams to prioritize innovation and product differentiation
- Lead lifecycle management of existing products, ensuring performance, relevance, and profitability
- Identify new market opportunities and evaluate product enhancements based on market and customer insights
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and commercial teams to develop effective go-to-market plans
- Guide product positioning, pricing strategies, messaging, and launch readiness activities
- Serve as the product thought leader and voice of the customer across cross-functional teams
- Work with regulatory, legal, and compliance to ensure product adherence to quality and industry standards
- Monitor competitive landscape, customer feedback, and emerging clinical guidelines to inform product direction
- Engage directly with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and partners to gather insights and shape strategy
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers and associates
- Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture of product innovation and accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field required
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) strongly preferred
- 12+ years of experience in product management
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role within molecular diagnostics, genomics, or related healthcare industry
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional product teams from concept to commercialization
- Strong background in clinical diagnostics, precision medicine, or laboratory-developed tests (LDTs)
- Proven ability to define product vision and drive innovation in a regulated environment (e.g., CLIA, CAP, FDA)
