About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage consolidation of company forecasts, budgets and financial outlooks
- Ensure forecast submissions are complete, documented, internally consistent and delivered on schedule
- Own the monthly FP&A reporting process
- Prepare and quality-review management reports, variance explanations, trend analysis, risks, opportunities and supporting schedules
- Coordinate monthly financial reviews with Finance and business partners
- Track follow-up items and ensure issues are resolved or appropriately reflected in the forecast
- Analyze actual and forecast financial performance to identify drivers, variances, trends and emerging risks
- Summarize findings for FP&A leadership
- Maintain forecast documentation, assumptions, version control and supporting analyses
- Partner with Accounting during monthly close to incorporate actual results into FP&A reporting and analysis
- Coordinate inputs from Operations FP&A, Commercial Finance and functional finance partners into a consolidated enterprise financial view
- Manage and develop Corporate FP&A team members
- Continuously improve reporting, consolidation and analytical processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance or related experience, including 5+ years of management experience
- Hands-on experience with financial consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, variance analysis and management reviews
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong attention to accuracy, documentation and detail
- Ability to manage recurring financial processes, multiple deadlines and cross-functional inputs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate financial results into clear, concise insights
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Preferred: MBA, CPA or other relevant advanced degree/certification
- Preferred: Experience in a high-growth, public-company or IPO-readiness environment
- Preferred: Experience with Adaptive Planning, Tableau or comparable planning and reporting tools
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services or another operationally complex business
- Ability to communicate effectively through virtual meetings, telephone and electronic collaboration tools
- Must comply with all company policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements
