About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a team of program managers or a major account
  • Help achieve company goals related to client retention, quality service delivery, client and BCD Travel profitability, preferred vendor maximization, and technology implementation
  • Provide oversight and direction to the team, including performance/activity updates with stakeholders
  • Establish multi-level, strategic client relationships
  • Support development of client and department budgets
  • Lead the Account Management team in developing strategic client business plans
  • Explore opportunities to expand client servicing relationships through regional or global expansion
  • Negotiate client contract terms in accordance with company approval processes and commercial policy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior management work experience in the business travel industry
  • Experience as an account manager in a corporate environment
  • Highly effective written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Computer literate in business software applications
  • Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis
  • Needs to work Eastern or Central hours
  • Must be located in the United States
