About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to formulate and prioritize the product development roadmap
Discover business logic flaws, data imperfections, potential product enhancements, and drive product improvement
Translate high-level requirements into detailed, development-ready specifications
Suggest improvements to product requirements and challenge stakeholder solutions
Monitor the development calendar and work with development and QA teams to manage blockers and dependencies
Manage product delivery scope and timelines with internal stakeholders and drive trade-off discussions
Serve as an expert on platform capabilities and product functionality
Ensure functional authorities and architects approve design decisions and cross-functional system integrations
Collaborate on product demos, documentation, acceptance testing, and rollout activities
Lead sprint planning and other agile ceremonies
Manage requirement traceability and changes throughout the project lifecycle
Be accountable for project results with business and technology owners
Support day-to-day operations by triaging support issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior Technical Business Analysis or software engineering experience (ideally a mix)
Exceptional soft skills, including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns
Ability to quickly grasp and break apart complex and ambiguous concepts into logical, understandable, and sequenced development steps
Ability to manage priorities, time-management, and multitasking activities
Experience writing business and technical requirements
Experience with system integrations with 3rd parties
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and gain a deep understanding of existing products
Strong technical orientation and attention to detail
Understanding of product and business logic, data sources and uses, technical limitations, and feature inter-dependencies
Experience adding requirements to JIRA tickets
Experience using Postman to work with an API
Experience building large-scale web services using AWS technologies
Knowledge of JSON, XML, CSV, and other data formats
Knowledge of SQL, APIs, data visualization platforms, Swagger, and cloud technologies is a plus
Experience with CloudWatch, Splunk, or Kibana is beneficial
Prior travel industry experience is a significant plus
