About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
- Provide high-touch service to key client travelers
- Accurately and efficiently handle incoming requests via phone, email, and other channels
- Understand client travel policies and provide customer consultation
- Fulfill requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other necessary regulations
- Provide industry information on low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Support specialized customer training programs and group air fulfillment
- Review operational processes and commercial relationships and suggest improvements
- Maintain, communicate, and expand current knowledge of supported travel industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience as a travel agent
- Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Skilled with Excel and other Microsoft applications
