About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales and market share growth for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and kitting solutions within BD/Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc.
- Identify, prospect, and close new OEM and kitting business opportunities, meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at existing and potential customer accounts.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to propose and develop tailored OEM/kitting solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and inform strategic planning.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and report on sales activities and pipeline status.
- Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and relevant events.
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to post-sales support.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the medical device industry, with a strong focus on OEM sales, kitting, or contract manufacturing.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO), and quality systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently, potentially up to 50%, to customer sites and industry events.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
